Trust in Quality, Process, and Results — CARRARA’s Stone Solution
When choosing premium finishing materials, nothing matters more than trust in the supplier. That means not only confidence in the quality, but also knowing that the promised materials will arrive on time and without disruption. CARRARA is a new brand founded by CEO Byung-jun Min, who built Total Stone and earned that trust over two decades in the industry.

Not Your Typical Importer

Natural marble and large-format porcelain slabs are stacked row after row inside a 2,000-pyeong warehouse. This is the scene at CARRARA's showroom in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province. CARRARA imports and distributes natural stone and large-format porcelain tiles from around the world, personally selecting marble and slabs from production regions including Italy before bringing them to Korea.

At first glance, it may look no different from any other building-material importer. But the products and solutions CARRARA offers are another story. The founder's distinctive background, combined with an understanding of large-scale projects, has shaped the company into a building-material partner that handles everything smoothly — from selection and distribution to on-site support.

Stability Comes from Experience

CARRARA opened in 2025, making it a newcomer by any measure. Yet what defines the company is not novelty, but stability. The seeming contradiction makes sense once you look not at the company, but at the person behind it.

CEO Byung-jun Min has worked in stone distribution for more than two decades. He has also built a company from the ground up and successfully handed it over. Along the way, he established Lemarble in Korea's marble furniture market and introduced large-format porcelain slab brand Atlas Plan to the country, helping it gain a foothold. In other words, his work has gone beyond simply buying and selling materials; he has spent years establishing brands in the market.

CARRARA also operates its own integrated solution covering sourcing, logistics, and project management. The company selects and proposes products suited to each project's requirements, calculates quantities, and directly coordinates schedules to keep construction on track. Its ability to respond to unexpected variables comes from two decades of experience.

Projects Min worked on previously included finishes for well-known hotels and luxury retail stores. A track record of building successful businesses gives partners a sense of stability in itself. Stability in quality, process, and results. In premium interior projects that rely heavily on imported materials, those three factors alone can be reason enough to choose a supplier. It is also why designers continue to visit and trust the Gwangju showroom despite CARRARA being a young company.

Beyond Natural Stone, into Sintered Stone

This year, CARRARA is expanding beyond natural stone with the introduction of VENUX, a new sintered stone brand. Sintered stone is a large-format slab made by subjecting natural minerals to intense heat and pressure. VENUX is a new premium brand from STN Group, a European name in ceramic tile, and can be used across a wide range of applications, from kitchen countertops and bathrooms to hotel lobbies. Its large slabs can finish walls or floors with minimal joints, making it a sought-after material for premium projects. The product will make its Korea Build debut this August.

CARRARA will also present a selection of premium marbles distinguished by rare patterns and colors. The exhibition will offer architects, interior designers, and clients preparing upcoming projects an opportunity to find materials suited to their needs and receive tailored consultations.
