2026 KOREA BUILD WEEK, Korea’s leading exhibition for construction, architecture, and interiors, opened at COEX in Seoul on Wednesday, August 5. Organized by MESSE ESANG, the exhibition brings together around 600 companies across 1,900 booths, showcasing products and solutions spanning building materials, construction technology, and interiors.

ㅣ Voices from the Construction and Architecture Industry Across Four Halls

KOREA BUILD WEEK brings together the latest technologies, materials, and design trends in response to the digital transformation of the construction and architecture industry and changes across the spatial design sector. The exhibition is divided into four halls.

  • Hall A - Construction and building materials, equipment, windows and doors, tools, and renewable energy
  • Hall B - Smart construction technologies including construction automation, robotics, and physical AI, as well as building fire safety and EV charging infrastructure
  • Hall C - Premium finishing materials and interior products and solutions for kitchens, bathrooms, and more
  • Hall D - Furniture, lighting, branding, and spatial design focused on retail and hospitality The exhibition flows from materials to technology, then on to finishes and design.

It is an easy route for visitors to explore their own field first, then move naturally into adjacent areas.  


ㅣ One-on-One Consultations for Those Planning to Build or Renovate

Customized consulting programs are also available for visitors. At the Architecture Design & Construction Consultation Center, prospective building owners planning new detached homes or mixed-use residential and commercial buildings can receive one-on-one consultations with professional contractors. The Interior Consulting Center offers free consultations for visitors preparing for interior remodeling. Alongside LX Z:IN Interior, Hanssem Rehaus, Hyundai Livart, and Modoo Architecture, Younglim joins the program for the first time this year, expanding the range of consultation options.  


ㅣ Business Meetings with Architects and Overseas Buyers

Programs for industry professionals include one-on-one meetings with architects, overseas building-material import consultations, and export consultations with international buyers. These programs connect exhibitors with architects and buyers from Korea and abroad, helping companies discover new business partners.  


ㅣ Special Zones and Concurrent Exhibitions

The exhibition features dedicated zones for design stone, interior materials, shading and window systems, school facility improvement, and building remodeling. Concurrent events include the Space Design Fair, NextCon, the Hoban Shared Growth+ Construction Pavilion, the Building Fire Safety Industry Pavilion, and the EV Charging Infrastructure Pavilion, covering a broad spectrum from construction and architecture to spatial design and smart technology.  

ㅣ Four Days of Conferences

On Wednesday, August 5, the opening day of the exhibition, BUILD CON SUMMIT 2026 and the 2026 Construction Steel Solutions Showcase were held. BUILD CON SUMMIT continues through Friday, August 7, covering construction automation and robotics, physical AI, AI-powered smart homes, and advanced building materials. On Thursday, August 6, the Korea-China Selected Sourcing Connect provides opportunities for building-material sourcing and business partnerships. On Saturday, August 8, the Building Value Enhancement Strategy Seminar focuses on building renovation, maintenance, and strategies for increasing asset value.
