Strict Safety Standards for Wood Panels, Proven Through Real International Certification

"Eco-friendly" has become the most common label in the building materials market, but what actually matters on real interior job sites and in furniture manufacturing is the rigor and consistency of verification. Shengchang New Material, which has manufactured wood-based panels for over 30 years, has focused on the raw quality of its materials by clearing international standards, rather than relying on flashy marketing language. The company concentrates on securing objective metrics throughout the entire process, from processing to distribution.

The most representative of these metrics is NAF (No-Added Formaldehyde) certification, overseen by bodies such as the California Air Resources Board (CARB). NAF is a grade that can only be earned by using no formaldehyde-containing adhesives whatsoever during manufacturing. Maintaining the certification requires passing months of raw-material quality data verification along with rigorous factory audits by third-party bodies. The OSB, MDF, and other wood panels supplied by Shengchang New Material meet this standard, objectively demonstrating their safety as materials for residential and interior use.

It's not just manufacturing safety that follows strict management standards — the sourcing of raw materials does too. Shengchang New Material's Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification is an environmental certification system that tracks the entire supply chain every year, from logging through final processing and distribution. Because it guarantees that only forest resources managed transparently, without illegal logging or environmental damage, have been used, it becomes an important selection criterion for premium construction projects that place weight on the ethical reliability of their materials. This processing technology and raw-material management translate directly into the physical stability of the material itself. Panels such as PMB (Particle Multi-layer Board) and plywood, built on a stable, formaldehyde-free bonding technology, have an even surface flatness and little warping or twisting. They also come with high-hardness design and water/moisture resistance, offering the practical benefit of lowering the likelihood of post-installation defects even in indoor environments with pronounced seasonal humidity swings.

Social standards around indoor air quality and material sustainability are only growing stricter. Shengchang New Material produces materials that meet standardized international benchmarks in line with market demand. The company plans to keep up indirect technical exchange with Korea's building materials distribution and interior industries, gradually expanding points of contact for standardized eco-friendly solutions.
